Copy of resolutions of the House and their attitude towards the Council amending a money bill. "Resolved unanimously That the House of Assembly in refusing to consider the Amendment proposed by His Majesty’s Council to the Act of Appropriation exercised their Constitutional right and did not assume a power which they do not possess. Resolved unanimously that this House can never admit it to be the right of his Majesty’s Council to amend a Money Bill." (Printed in extenso, Journal p. 26)
