Petition of James Leaver, asking for the drawback on rum imported into Halifax and exported to Cape Breton, for the exportation of which he was unable to obtain regular certificates, due to the port into which the rum was carried not having a Customs establishment. Enclosed are certificates, vouchers, recommendations etc.
