Memorial of Lt.-Col. John Beckwith, Adjutant-General of the Militia, detailing his services in the Militia since August 1797, and asking for compensation for past services and allowance for the future, and also the assistance of a clerk and an office "which are not become absolutely necessary, for carrying on the Duty which punctuality and promptitude." Signed. Recommended by the President.
