Draft of report of the committee of the House on privileges, on the Lt.-Governor’s refusal of their application for a copy of parts of the Royal Instructions. In view of the fact that the Lt.-Governor has referred the Annapolis election case to the Home Government and is about to refer this case to the same authority, the committee recommend "that the whole matter should be laid before His Excellency the Governor-General, and recommend that a suitable Address be presented to His Excellency, and that it be accompanied with Copies of all the Letters, reports, and proceedings on this Subject: and that His Excellency be requested to interpose his authority, to protect the privileges of this House;"
