Petition of Elias Wheelock, stating the exertions and "almost unparraled hardships" he has encountered in exploring the country between Annapolis County and Halifax and between Annapolis and Lunenburg, and asking compensation therefore and for advances he has made in the process of exploring the said country. Signed. Attached. "Memorandum of labour and expences". (See committee report, 8 Jan. 1806). Petition approved by the Lt.-Governor. Deferred until the next session.
