Fugitive slave advertisement

John Rock of Halifax offers a two-dollar reward for the apprehension of his runaway slave, 'Thursday'. She was recaptured. Rock ordered Thursday sold in his 1776 will. She was valuated at £25 and sold to John Bishop for £20.
