Clipping from the Halifax Chronicle. The Halifax Mail, 3 February 1944, p.15, reported, "In recent days special appeals have been placed before the public, stressing the urgent need for more people to come forward and volunteer gifts of blood to save lives of soldiers wounded on the battlefield."
