unfortunate people the benevolent intensions of the Legislature in their favour may be fully realized.
Your Committee not doubting that measures will be continued for receiving there our wretched fellow creatures from their present miserable condition respectfully recommend that whoever are intrusted with the execution of the determination of the Legislature may be authorized to have lands surveyed in suitable places ready for the accommodation of the Indians, that they be empowered to proceed to the location of some few families best disposed to settle as an example & encouragement to the rest & be instructed to continue to gain information necessary for compleating the task assigned your Committee last session.
Your Committee are of opinion that a moderate sum in addition to the balance of last years will be [just?]
