Letter from Andrew Henderson of Albion Vale to Joseph Howe regarding the request of Charles Glode for assistance to build a house. Note on the bottom of the letter says Howe wrote to Henderson authorizing ten pounds to Glode to help in building a house.

potatoes according to your orders, and will shortly draw for the amount of Kempton's Bill, John Jeremy is getting forward with his house but complains of it's [its] being too small, not much larger, as he says than his camp. Strange to hear a savage thus express himself; but I suppose some white barbarian told him so. If you have the means at command and can assist Glode --- it would perhaps ultimately turn to the advantage of the whole Tribe.
