Therefore if it is in your power to do anything to assist me by persuading the Indians to relinquish about one hundred acres and take it in another [place?] [adjoining?] or elsewhere on the River, which they can do without any detriment to themselves, and will be remembered with heartfelt gratitude by your most devoted and humble Ser[van]t Wm Hendry.
N.B. I have opened a waggon road to the above named place, being a distance of two miles - for further particulars please inquire of W. Freeman.Esqr

Dear Sir
I have not yet received W. Freeman's Report and Plans of the Indian Reserve at Brookfield - when I do I will certainly be disposed to give a fair consideration to your claim.
