To His Excellency, the Right Honourable Lucius Bentinck, Viscount Falkland, Knight Ground Cross of the Guelphic order and member of Her Majesty's Most Honourable Privy Council, Lieutenant Governor and Commander in Chief in and over Her Majesty's Province of Nova Scotia and its Dependencies &c &c &c

The petition of Charles Glode, Governor of the Micmac Tribe of Indians, residing in the County of Annapolis, most humbly sheweth,

That petitioner, with four other families, resides on the new line of the road leading from Annapolis Royal to Liverpool, on lands capable of improvement and holding out to the industrious settler no inconsiderable
