degree by your situation enforcing, that such a system may in a short time be adopted, as will more effectively serve the poor creatures, and relieve the Government from their constant importunities; and the Committe will in that event have great satisfaction in reporting to the Legislature, the beneficial effects of your Agency, so as to intitle you to its consideration.

Enclosed you have an invoice of the articles sent from hence, with a receipt for their shipment, which I hope you will soon receive in safety.
