To the Committee on Indian Affairs
Gentlemen
The above is my
Afc for professional attendance and medicine on the Poor
Indians in this part of the county. The Balance of Five
pounds was due me for last years services, and I think
without much consideration withheld from me by
last years Committee. When the Committee some
of whom I presume are professional Gentlemen consider
the arduous services required of Medical men
in visiting the poor destitute Indians in the Centre
of woods not easy of access I think they will do
me what appertains to right and Justice
Your [obt.] [&c]
