Sir

I write to inform you that I have this day shipped through Mess [?Duffus] & Co. Eighty Blankets Twenty Great Coats for distribution amongst the Indians. I received this morn a list of the Indians in and about Antigonish which by that appear to be much more numerous than I had conceived there to be and the numbers in families are far beyond the average in other parts of the
