Liverpool 17th Jan 1854
To the Honble Jos Howe
Dear Sir
Peter Bobie
has directed me to desire
you today the Enclosed before His
Excellency. I know nothing
of the matter only what I have
learnt from him. He tells a
most pitiful story however. The
Blankets and Coats sent were by all
accounts of the most shabby
by description. I remain yours truly,
Charles Morse
