Halifax 25th July 1833
Sir, In accordance with your instructions I proceeded, in company with the commissioner of Indian affairs to Ingram River at St. Margaret's Bay for the purpose of examining into an alledged trespass on the Indian Reserve at that place, and beg to report as follows: That in consequence of a dam extending entirely across the river, and said to have been erected by Francis Webber and others, and marked A on the annexed plan
