Memorandum of Dr. Jennings regarding expenses incurred on account of the Mi'kmaq near Dartmouth and Maitland during his attendence on them and the reduction of his charges.

3rd. That to have procured "Moccason's"
would be a saving only of
a few Pounds. To obtain them
immediately was impossible.
The state of the Indians required
immediate attention, it was
therefore considered judicious to
purchase Shoes ready made at
a low price_
