Liverpool 2d March 1836.

Dear Sir/
I acknowledge the Receipt of your Letter of the 9th December [last?], accompanied by 20 pair of Blankets. We distributed among the Poorer Indians in this County. by directions from His Excellency the Lt. Governor; and as I wish to give an account of my Stewardship, inclosed you have the [?mode] of distribution; they were received with apparent thankfulness, as a very timely relief:-- there was [?some] other applicants, but they could not all be supplied. --
