27th December 1834

Sir
I have the honor to acknowledge the receipt of your letter enclosing the sum of Ten pounds for the poor Indians of this Island and also to acquaint you that the two bundles containing blankets and [?Rugs] have arrived at the Sydney Mines in the Schooner Mary Ann John [Mayjack?] Master.
