Chester Major Thomson 9th. Decr. 1807 Fifteen effective men who appear to be well disposed for the defence of the Province should their Service be required.

Liverpool Ths. Atkins 20th. Decr. 1807 The Indians are much in want of Clothing & Provisions, & appear very friendly to our Government.

Dorchester T.H.. Hierlehy 30th. Novr. 1807 They will not join against us except there was a french Invasion, & then would join the victors. ---

Westmoreland. Titus Knapp 15th. Decr. 1807 What few Indians there are would in their own phrase, in case of necessity, "fight" "for their Brother King George".
