Halifax, 20 February 1820, 4 pages. The brig Sir George Beckwith was wrecked between St. Mary's River and Indian Harbour, 25 March 1819. This petition mentions the crew, cargo and deplorable roads. If the roads were improved, law-abiding citizens would be able to reach wrecks to prevent the plundering of cargo.
