Where the Land Meets the Sea: Shipwrecks of Nova Scotia

"S.S. Skidby, Wrecked Sable Island off Old No.2 (Life) Station" and covered in ice. This collection of photographs belonged to Beatrice (Trixie) Boutilier who was the daughter of R.J. Boutilier, the Supertendent of the Lifesaving Establishment at Sable Island from 1884-1912. She lived on the island for many years and worked as a wireless telegrapher there at one time.
