Memorial to those who perished in the wreck of the SS Atlantic, 1 April 1873
The Atlantic monument in the cemetery at Prospect. The monument was erected in 1915 and marks the mass grave of the Atlantic's dead. Two hundred and seventy-seven bodies are known to have been interred in this location.
