Piers note: No. 369. Dockyard: 3 Official Residences in the Victualling Yard near North Gate and Naval Hospital; also their 3 gardens. Small modern cottage, built before 1878 (No. 370) to right, and end of Victualling Store (No. 368) to extreme left. Looking West-southwest from near Coal Store at No.5 Wharf. Charles Stubbing once lived in right hand one of the 3 residences, and no doubt his predecessor, Charles J. Hill.
