Piers note: No. 232. Ogilvie, Fort: Escarp (10½ feet high, of "ironstone" masonry), with several drainage openings (apparently not loopholes) of Northeast Flank, where it meets the gorge at the rear (rounded angle); above, an embrasure of last of the two 9-inch flanking R.M.L. Guns; 1879(?). Looking South-southwest.
