Spoils of War: Privateering in Nova Scotia

"Proclamation. For a general Fast"

With war going badly on the European continent, Governor Wentworth invited Nova Scotians to engage in the ritual of a general fast. Peace came in 1802 but quickly broke down when Napoleon embarked on a programme of conquest that ultimately carried him into Russia.
