Photograph of old Horizontal-warp Hand-Loom, Treadle system; as shown in operation at a booth in Woman's Work Department, Provincial Exhibition, Halifax, Nova Scotia; 30 September to 5 October, 1935. Photographed showing view of front, a.m., 4 October 1935.

Shows view of front with transversely-banded [homespun] which had been woven; two shuttles on right hand side of the seat and a pair of spreaders or stretchers (like accession number 8275) in place on top of the woven cloth near front.
