Notes from Piers Accession Book: Photograph of employees of Halifax Street Railway Co., Ltd. (Horse Cars): showing James Adams, superintendent, and most of the conductors, drivers, starter, with two open summer cars, one a Spring Garden Road car, and the other an Inglis Street car, the latter with two horses ready to go out, in front of the Company's Car Barn at southeast corner of Campbell Road, 3 Hanover Street, Richmond, Halifax, Nova Scotia. Taken one Sunday afternoon, in summer, about 1894 (about 41 years ago). View looking east. (The rest of the employees were out on the line).

The group has been keyed, left to right, with figures, per [full-tone] in Halifax Mail, Saturday, 12 October. 1935.
