Description of the Whykokomagh Indians Settlements at the head and western side of the Basin of Whykokomagh.
Beginning at the entrance of a small Brook, about 7 chains eastward of a small pond, thence bounded by a line running by the Magnet (in 1832) No. 25 E. 87 chains -- thence S. 86 25 West (in 1832) 130 chains, more or less, till a blazed maple near the shore be in the direction S. 25 W. thence S. 25 W. (in 1832) 189 Chains, more or less, to the said blazed maple, thence along the shore easterly, to the place of commencement, containing 2074 acres, more or less, including the large Island in front, agreeably to the annexed Plat.
The greater part of this tract consiste of mountainous land.
