I hope Your Honr will be pleased to let me know, seeing from the Novascotian that Your Honr had incured an apparent [loss?] and knowing at the same time that Your Honr promised to pay me at the rate of Twenty Pounds a year, at least Your Honr promised me to see paid for every hour of my Labour
If I am to continue my instructions under such circumstances, Your Honr will be pleased to let me know, If there should be any doubt as to the truth of this statement Mr [Dimock] can safely certify the same, In the mean time, I remain Your Honr's Obt & very humble servant

Sometime last fall Penall and [Hammond] [informed?] me that there had been something amiss in your conduct towards the children attending the School, and that they had taken them away. When Mr [Doyle?] was up here recently, I asked him about the School, and he spoke unfavorably. I shall be happy to compensate you for your services, provided regular Certificates are forwarded,
