The Indians are strongly impressed with the belief that Cook never paid even the £10 - but admitting he did, Joseph Paul could only have sold his 1/3rd of the whole, and Peter Thomas's wife, who is Tom ? Paul's daughter (or wife) and the Chief's wife, who is her daughter, are entitled to 1/3rd

Francis & died one daughter
Joe died no children
Mary Ann & Molly - both dead, Mary Ann left one daughter who lives near Shelburne, and would be entitled 1/3rd of Cook's property. The daughter of Francis (Isabell), or the Chief's wife, and his widow, now married to Peter Thomas, are entitled to 1/3rd.
