As C.I. Affairs I have to report for the information of his Excellency the Lieut Govenor [Governor]
The Twelve Hundred dollars placed to my Credit has been expended almost wholly in the purchase of Blankets and Clothing for the Indians
In a few cases where real distress existed at the recommendation of Magistrates and other gentlemen who have bought the matter to my notice I have furnished the Families with Flour and meal in small Quantaties [Quantities]
I have also at the recommendation of John McKinnon Esqr M.P.P backed by a Petition numerously signed by respectable people. payed the sum of Twenty dollars to enable an Indian (Joseph Baptiste) residing at Pomket
