To the Honorable the member of the
House of Assembly in their Legislative
capacity now assembled _
The Petition of Charles Aitken of Lunenburg
in the County of Lunenburg Surgeon
Humbly Sheweth _
That your Petitioner has attended
and supplied during the period mentioned
in the annexed account, Several
Sick and inform Indians residing in
the County, and for many services
has never made any charge _ that he
has always gone to their relief when
required, and oftentimes at great
inconvenience.

That Petitioner has no way
of getting renumerated for said
services, but thro the liberality of
your Honorable House, and
therefore prays your Honorable
House to take his care into
your favorable consideration
and grant him the amount of
his said account_

And as in duty bound,
will ever pray
Charles Aitken M.D.
Lunenbury 8th Feby
A.D. 1861.
