Provincial Secretary "that the articles sent"
"were by all accounts of the most shabby"
"description" a statement "wholly at variance
with what is the Fact."

It is perhaps necessary to add that
out of a small sum given to me viz
one Hundred pounds on Indian Acct.
I have clothed with Great Coat and Blanket
nearly four hundred Indians and I have
endeavoured so to portion the amount
that all may receive benefit.
