My dear Sir Rupert,
You will see by the [inclosed]
what has been done by the Persons who
[were] [sued] for Trespasses on the Indian
Reserves, The [?costs] in these [fines] will [amount]
to a considerable sum The Sheriff has
rendered me a bill of £28. [for] [his]
services and I have already paid
Mr. [?Nattins] in part, I had [?marked]
[Dificulty] against the [?Defendants]
& am now making up the [?costs] to
be [?Taxed] and will exhibit the whole
when [completed] and Judgements
may be entered against each of the
