To His Excellency, Sir Colin Campbell
Governour and Commander in Chief in and over
His Majestys Province of Nova Scotia &c &c &c &c
The Petition of Malti Gloade, a lame Indian
with a large family
Respectfully and Humbly Sheweth
That your petitioner is one among a Number of
Indians. comprising not less than Twenty families
who obtain a precarious Subsistence by Hunting &c
That amongst them are many young children
who are exposed to much suffering from the [?coldness]
of the weather [&c.] Whose parents have not the
means of procuring for them clothing against the
[rigours] of the coming winter.
That His Majestys Government
has on former occasions kindly furnished
to other Indians Blankets and other old clothing.
Your Petitioner therefore on his own behalf
and that of the other Indians associated with
him respectfully solicits the attention of
your
