Your petitioner being sensible of the desire of your Excellency to afford to the members of the tribe of Indians to which your petitioner belongs, every facility and encouragement to their permanent settlement in the Province which was the land of their forefathers, would submit to your Excellencys consideration, that the granting of lands to those who are desirous of settling on particular potions of land would be viewed as an additional mark of Your Excellencys care and favor.

That your petitioner being desirous that his family should in the event of his decease reap the fruits of his labor, would therefore humbly pray Your Excellency will be graciously pleased to direct a free Grant should be issued to your petitioner of the lands upon which he has expended so much labor and where he desires to remain settled and trusts his family will remain after him.

And your petitioner as in duty bound will ever pray &c
