Response from the Nova Scotian Government to the Royal Commission on the Donald Marshall, Jr. prosecution regarding their recommendations for compensation and righting the wrong in this case given Donald Marshall, Jr. was wrongfully convicted of murdering Sandy Seale when they were 17. Though overturned, this publication called attention to the relationships that happen between the police and minority citizens (Marshall being Mi'Kmaq) and what needs to be done in order to protect citizens from unlawful treatment and wrongful incarceration.
