Cranial Skeleton of a large Atlantic Cod, Gadus morhua Linnaeus, 1758, International Fisheries Exhibition 1883

This skull cleaned by a process devised by Dr Robert Morrow (Member N.S.I.S.) which he then re-assembled using fine brass wires, and each of the bones labelled with a glued-on tag (a feature that was commented upon by many at the Exhibition).
