The Secretary Acquainted the Gentlemen of the Comity that His Honour the Lt Governor of the province had Directed him to lay before them for their Consideration a Writting Certified by Capt Christopher Aldridge to be a True Copy of a Paragraph of a Letter from his Excellency Governor Philipps in Order that they might Conformable thereunto Draw up a Representation, Directed to His Majesty, of the Present State of the Province And the Danger that Canso Will be Exposed to in Case of a War with france. As also an Address to His Majesty upon the Happy Mariage of the Princess Royall with His Most Serene Highness the Prince of Orange, both to be signed by himself And Officers and so transmitted home
