     At a Council held at his Excellency's House in His Majestys Garrison of Annapolis Royall upon Satturday the 16th May 1730. P. M

     His Excellency being return'd' from ye Bay acquainted ye Board of ye Submission of ye Inhabitants of this Province, but that there were about Seventeen of those of Chignictou who persist in their obstinacy in refusing to Conform to his Majestys Orders. His Excellency appointed a Committee to draw up an Order or Proclamation Concerning those Delinquents; Majr Mascarene and Major Cope were Nam'd for that purpose. His Excellency Likewise acquainted ye Board of Nineteen familys at Chickpoudy that had not taken ye Oath of Fidelity to his Majesty. And that they intended to Come in a Body to Annapolis to Submitt themselves; His Excellency Adjourn'd the Board till Monday morning ten a Clock being ye 18th Instant In Order to approve of ye Proclamation
