     Att a Council held by order of the Honourable Lawrence Armstrong Esqre Lieut Governor of the Province at his own House in the Garrison of Annapolis Royal on Munday the 8th of May 1732

     His Honour acquainted the Board that he had Receivd a Message from Major Alexr Cosby Lieut Govr of this ffort, By a letter to the Secretary, the Copy thereof being as follows viz
Annapolis Royal 7th May 1732

     I desire you'l acquaint the Commander in Cheif of this Province at the Next Council that is to be Conven'd, that I withdraw my Self from being a Member of Said Council, untill I acquaint his Majesty with my reason for So Doing

     His Honour Desir'd the opinion of the Board upon this letter, which being taken into Consideration; the Board agreed, that a Copy of Said letter Should be Sent to the Secretary of State, and the Lords Commissioners of Trade and that he hath voluntarly withdrawn himself, that he be Suspended from being a Member of his Majestys Council, Untill his Majestys pleasure be thereon Known
 





     Then his Honour acquainted the Board that one Philip Melanson from Menis had presented him with a Petition, Praying a Rehearing of the Plea decided by the Council in favour of Rene Le Blanc the 25 25 of March last, in prejudice of the heirs of the Deceas'd Peter Melanson, Said Sentence
