the petition of John Prince &c Examined
|
His Honour acquainted the Board that he has Called them together upon a petition of John Prince and others the Heirs of the deceas'd Widow Richards, Complaining of Piere Depuis for taking possession of the Said deceas'd widows Effects. The Said Depuis and Prudane Robicheaux, who appeard for the heirs, being Called in, the Petition was Read, and His Honour having Asked him the said Depuis, by what Right he had taken those Goods, into his possession, who answer'd by virtue of a Will, and he having produced the Same, it was also Read, and it being only Signed by John Duon, Michel Richards and Renny Richards, who only made Declaration, that it was Conformable to what the Said widow had Declared to them on her death Bed, His Honour proposed Assigning another Day for their proving the Same
