Report compiled by Harriet Taber (Mrs. Frederick A.) Richardson, Secretary of the Associates of Port Royal; 7 pages. Mrs. Richardson lived in Boston, MA, was a summer resident of Lower Granville, NS, and was intensely interested in preserving and developing the Habitation site. Involved in both the Historical Association of Annapolis Royal and the Associates of Port Royal (founded 1930), Mrs. Richardson prepared this report as an update for the Associates, including sections on "Recent Discoveries at or near Site of the Habitation" and "History of the Formation of the Associates of Port Royal". Her vision for the development was an initiative shared by the Historical Association (Canadian) and the Associates (American) as an expression of cultural cooperation between the two countries.
