"John Easson's Contract for Furnishing Stone & Sand"
Contract between Captain Lieutenant Robert George Bruce, Engineer, Lieutenant Robert Fenwick, Commanding Officer of Artillery, Thomas Williams, Storekeeper, and Benjamin Rumsey, Clerk of the Cheque, all Officers of the Ordnance at Annapolis Royal, and John Easson, Master Carpenter to the Office of Ordnance. Contract for Easson to provide stone and sand for the fortifications and buildings in the garrison at Annapolis Royal. Witnessed by Joseph Winniett and Marmaduke Lamont.
