Dear Sir
          Knowing that Esqr Ritchie
understood this business better
than any of us, I applied to
him; & he says, that, it is
only necessary for your broth–
– er to make out an ac–
– count of the timber, and
attest to it, before a mag–
– istrate. – You will see
that I have so prepared
it; and I think, that he
can attest to it without
any difficulty whatsoever, as
your acct which you give
in, is made out in his
Name, which throws the
timber all upon him as
the Principal provider of
it; and he can then ac
count
