Fredericton 22d July 1786
Dr Easson:
I have this day received a letter
from Mr Wylly requesting me to interpose
in endeavoring to adjust the controversy
between you of Major Murray, and I take
the earliest opportunity of assuring you
that, I will with unfeigned alacrity exert
every talent I Possess to effect an amicable
of an equitable settlement between you
and I will acquaint you with the result
of my negotiation. I have written on this
subject to Mr. Wylly.
I have now a favor to ask of you
in turn, there lives a man in your neighborhood
by the name of James Cartey who owns fourteen
rods front of Land next adjoining the Land
Lately assigned to me, I am anxious to purchase
Mr David Easson this
