Mr John Easson           London 15th Sept 1764
          Sir
          We received your favour of the 15th March &
in Compliance with your request, you have enclosed Invoice
of a small Parcel of Linens consigned our Mutual
friend Mr Samuel Austin of Boston for your account
by the John & Sukey Capt Bruce amounting to £67.19.9
which sum is placed to your debit, as also £1.15.6 for
premio of £70 insured thereon at 2 ½ percent per 6 ~
We have desired Mr Austin to forward you the 2 Cases
of Linen with this Letter, and hope the Same will Soon
reach your hands. We never See or hear of Mrs Bontien
so cannot tell what She has done in your Business at
the Board of Ordnance. Are Sorry your Engagements in
Trade with her has not answered your Expectation
and in our Opinion the Sooner you Close the Account between
you the better, & you may be always assured of all the
good Offices in the power of Sir
