          We duely Received your Favour
of the 6 January & in answer do Return you our thanks
for your hearty wishes of Success to our new Establish-
ment are very Sorry to Find that you have lately
Sustained such great losses By Fire & Removal of
the French Inhabitants & heartly desire to See peace
once more Restored to us again for till then we Cannot
Expect to See better times.
          a few days Since we Settled
your account with Mr Bogdani & Received of him
for Balance thereof £133.10.5 which Sum we
have placed to your Credit have very little acquain-
tance with the Gentlemen of the Ordnance but our
said Friend Mr Bogdani who hath promised to
mention you to Mr Dixon.
          Herewith you have an enclosed
left with us by one of your Relations to forward you which
we wish Safe to your hands & not having further to
add at present we Remain with Respect
