Petroglyph tracings F: Animals, birds, snakes #13. 6 negatives. The tracings bear a red 'X' mark which indicates that they were found at the Port Medway River. Marion Robertson's Rock Drawings of the Micmac Indians interpret this petroglyph as "Possibly a porcupine... Among the Micmacs young men never ate roast porcupine, freaking they would travel the pace of a porcupine; nor would they eat the foetus of the porcupine believing it would give them great pain in their feet when they went hunting. Such delicacies were resevered for old men who no longer hunted."
